タイ・ケニア・インドネシアのことばで絵本（えほん）を楽（たの）しみ、「くまさん くまさん なに見（み）てるの？」はスワヒリ語（ご）で聞（き）きました。

おはなしのあとは、タイのダンスやゲームも！

インドネシアのお話（はなし）に出（で）てきたせんべい競争（きょうそう）にも挑戦（ちょうせん）。手（て）を使（つか）わず、口（くち）だけでおせんべいを食（た）べようと、みんな夢中（むちゅう）でした。

絵本（えほん）やあそびを通（とお）して、子（こ）どもたちがいろいろな国（くに）のことばや文化（ぶんか）に
「おもしろい！」「もっと知（し）りたい！」と思（おも）ってくれたら嬉（うれ）しいです。

On December 26, we held a Multilingual Storytime at Kanagawa Library 
Fourteen children aged 2 to 12, along with their parents, joined us.

We enjoyed picture books in Thai, Swahili, and Bahasa Indonesia.
“Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” was read in Swahili.

After storytime, we enjoyed Thai dance and played games together!

We even tried an Indonesian-style rice cracker game, where children eat crackers using only their mouths — no hands!

Everyone was totally into it and having fun.

Through stories and play, we hope children can discover the joy of different languages and cultures around the world.
