We have had serial workshops with the Popola childcare support center in Center Kita, but yesterday we held the first session at Popola satellite in Lalaport Yokohama!

It was a casual meet-up with babies in the same spot but the staff keep watching them so mothers seemed to be relaxed and enjoyed a chat for an hour.

We talked about baby food in terms of ingredients, seasonings, procedures, and things you care about when you feed your baby.

One mom mentioned that her child doesn’t eat a lot, while the other mom said there are some ups and downs.A mom of two children shared a tip and said not to try too hard.

It was such a short time, but meaningful time for mothers to share their concerns with others.

昨日、ららぽーと横浜の中にある都筑区子育て支援センターポポラサテライトで赤ちゃんの食事のおはなし会をしました。子どもが同じ部屋にいてもスタッフが赤ちゃんを見守っていたので、お母さんたちはリラックスしているようでした。みんなでおしゃべりを1時間楽しみました。赤ちゃんの食事（離乳食、りにゅうしょく）のことを材料、味つけ、作り方、離乳食で気をつけていることについて、話をしました。参加していたお母さんの一人が、子どもの食べる量が少ないと話すと、他のお母さんは子どもはたくさん食べるときもあるし、そうでない時もあると話をしていました。二人の子どもを育てているお母さんは、「がんばりすぎない」ようにしていると言っていました。おはなし会は短い時間でした。でも、お母さんたちは、気になっていることを他のお母さんと話して、大事な時間になりました。
