12月17日に寄付月間2023 賛同企画 チャリティーラン・ウォークをしました。穏やかな冬晴れのもと、10家族29名が参加しました。せせらぎ公園からせきれいの道を通る約1kmと約3kmのコースを参加者はそれぞれのペースで歩いたり走ったりしました。
早渕公園の水分補給所では、サポーターからドリンクが手渡され、フォト・チャレンジに参加して写真をタグ付けする参加者もいました。日本人だけでなく、インドやネパール、アメリカから来た家族も緑道を楽しんでいました。
市ヶ尾にあるスターグローブの中高生もボランティアとして参加しました。駅前から公園までの道案内をしたり、アメリカ人メンバーと英語で会話をしながら道しるべやポスターの掲示を手伝ったりしました。
初めてのチャリティーランの企画でしたが、地域の人たちの協力によって無事に開催でき、目標としていた寄付金25,000円を超える27,000円を集めることができました！！！
SCCは、集まった参加費の全額を認定NPO法人あっとほーむに寄付し、ひとり親家庭を支援します。
On December 17, we held a charity run•walk for Giving December 2023. Under mild, clear winter weather, 29 people from 10 families participated in the event. Participants walked or ran at their own pace about 1 km and 3 km route from Seseragi Park through the Sekirei Road.
At the hydration station in Hayabuchi Park, the supporters handed the drink and some participants joined the photo challenge and tagged their photos. Not only Japanese but family from India, Nepal, and the US enjoyed walking along the green paths.
Junior and senior high school students from Star Globe in Ichigao were also involved in the event as volunteers. They guided the participants from the station to the park, helping with the route signs and posters while talking in English with an American member.
It was our first time to organize a charity run. But with the dedicated support of volunteers from local community, we were able to hold the event successfully and raise 27,000 yen, exceeding our target donation amount of 25,000 yen!!!SCC will donate all the participation fees to the certified non-profit At Home to support single parents.
