SCCの文化大使のティッシーが英語のおはなし会で動物をテーマにした絵本の読み聞かせをしました。セッションはティッシーの国、スリランカの紹介から始まりました。おはなし会は、未就学児向けと小学生向けに2回しました。ティッシーは、未就学児向けに「いないいないばあ動物園」を、小学生向けに「５匹の猿」を、そしてどちらの回でも「くまさん、くまさん、なにをみてるの？」の絵本を読みました。子どもたちも親もお話やティッシーとの交流を楽しんでくれて私たちもうれしくなりました。このような機会を与えてくださった大井図書館の皆さま、ありがとうございました！

The SCC cultural ambassador, Tishini, ran the English storytime and read some picture books themed on animals. The session started with the introduction of Tishini’s country, Sri Lanka. We had two sessions for preschoolers and elementary school-age kids. Tishini read ‘Peek-a-Boo Zoo‘ for preschoolers, ‘Five Little Monkeys‘ for school-age kids, and ‘ Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?‘ for both. We were so happy to know that children and parents enjoyed the books and interactions with Tishi. Thank you to Oi Library for giving us such a great opportunity!
