We had a fun session today at Tamaplaza Chiki Care Plaza. Eight families and many kids gathered on a cold, rainy day to enjoy activities. First, we introduced ourselves and our kids. Then, we danced to the song “Oni no Pants”. After dancing, we listened to a story about the monster’s likes and dislikes in the panel theater. Both the kids and parents paid attention. Next, we worked on a craft. We decorated cute monster caps with horns, eyes, and funny hair, which helped the kids practice their motor skills. At the end, we called for the monster (Oni), but luckily, we had our mamemaki made from old newspapers. The kids chased the monster and threw the paper mamemaki. I’m sure many kids will go to bed tired tonight! Thank you to Risa for being our monster and for all her energy today. It’s not easy to be a monster in a long skirt! Thank you to all the families who came despite the rain.

今日はたまプラーザ地域ケアプラザで楽しい会をしました。冷たい雨が降る中、8組の家族とたくさんの子どもたちが集まって、アクティビティを楽しみました。まずは自己紹介。そして「鬼のパンツ」の歌に合わせて踊りました。踊った後は、パネルシアターで鬼の好き嫌いについてのパネルシアターを聞きました。子どもも親もじっくりおはなしを聞いていました。次は工作。角や目、変な毛のついたかわいいおにのお面をつくりました。子どもたちは、指先を使いました。最後に鬼を呼んで古新聞で作った豆まきをしました。子どもたちは鬼を追いかけ、紙製の豆を投げました。きっと今夜は疲れて寝る子が多いでしょう！りささん、鬼になってくれてありがとう。ロングスカートで鬼になるのは大変なんだよ！雨の中、来てくださった家族の皆さん、ありがとうございました。
