On the April 27 , six families joined us at the Tamaplaza Chiki Care Plaza. We had a great time decorating a beautiful flower drawing with colorful paper while we waited for everyone to arrive. We introduced ourselves and shared our backgrounds, giving a warm welcome to the new families. The kids listened attentively during storytime, where we read and acted out “Elephant Blue.” We did some fun stretches inspired by animal movements – these kids are impressively flexible!

After that, we enjoyed a panel theater presentation of “Obento Bus.” We even crafted our own paper and tape bento boxes, filling them with snacks like scrambled eggs, fried eggs, burger patties, rice balls, and a cupcake. We sang a birthday song for a child at the end of the session.

4月（がつ）27日（にち）、たまプラーザ地域（ちいき）ケアプラザでのセッションに6組（くみ）の親子（おやこ）が参加（さんか）しました。みんなが来（く）るのを待（ま）つあいだ、わたしたちは色（いろ）とりどりの紙（かみ）で美（うつく）しい花（はな）の絵（え）を飾（かざ）り、楽（たの）しい時間（じかん）を過（す）ごしました。自己紹介（じこしょうかい）をし、それぞれの生（お）い立（た）ちを話（はな）し、新（あたら）しい家族（かぞく）を温（あたた）かく歓迎（かんげい）しました。「ぞうさんのさんぽ」のおはなしでは、子（こ）どもたちは熱心（ねっしん）に話（はなし）を聞（き）いていました。動物（どうぶつ）の動（うごき）きからヒントを得（え）た楽（たの）しいストレッチもしました！その後（あと）、「おべんとうバス」のパネルシアターを楽（たの）しみました。紙（かみ）とテープで作ったおべんとう箱（ばこ）に、スクランブルエッグ、目玉（めだま）焼（や）き、ハンバーガー、おにぎり、カップケーキなどを詰（つ）めました。セッションの最後（さいご）には、子（こ）どもたちのためにバースデーソングを歌（うた）いました。
