On August 29th, we had a blast playing with shadow puppets! Even though it was really hot outside, when we turned off the lights and made the room dark,

it felt refreshingly cool. We cut out fun fish and ocean scenes from paper and glued them on cellophane to create awesome pictures for our shadow play.

We ended up making some really cool images, and guess what? Ghosts showed up too, which made it even more fun! Did you make lots of great memories this summer?

8月（がつ）29日（にち）に影絵（かげえ）あそびをしました。外（そと）は暑（あつ）いけど、部屋（へや）の電気（でんき）を消（け）して暗（くら）くしただけでなんだか涼（すず）しくなったような…魚（さかな）や海（うみ）を紙（かみ）で切（き）って、セロファンを貼（は）って、影絵（かげえ）あそびで使（つか）う絵（え）を作（つく）りました。涼（すず）しい絵（え）ができました。そして、おばけも登場（とうじょう）！もっと涼（すず）しくなりました。

夏休（なつやす）みは楽（たの）しい思（おも）い出（で）がたくさんできたかな？
