In our October Multicultural Playgroup, we welcomed five families with children from newborn to nearly three years old, despite the rainy weather. We kicked off with a panel theater activity called “What’s Inside the Pumpkin?” Then, we gave the kids fun massages to the song “Skeleton Dance,” while parents enjoyed some relaxing yoga. After storytime with “Boo Whoo!” and “Go Away, Big Green Monster,” we celebrated Halloween with a short “Trick or Treat” parade. We ended by singing “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” in English and Japanese, sending the kids home relaxed. Join us next month to make new friends!

10月（がつ）の多文化（たぶんか）プレイグループでは、雨（あめ）にもかかわらず３ヶ月（かげつ）の赤（あか）ちゃんから3歳（さい）までの子（こ）どもがいる5家族（かぞく）をお迎（むか）えしました。まずは「かぼちゃの中身（なかみ）は何（なん）だろう？」というパネルシアターでスタート。その後（ご）、子（こ）どもたちには「スケルトンダンス」の歌（うた）に合（あ）わせて楽（たの）しいマッサージを、保護者（ほごしゃ）の方（かた）にはリラックスできるヨガを楽（たの）しみました。「Boo Whoo？」と「Go Away, Big Green Monster,」の読（よ）み聞（き）かせの後（あと）、短（みじか）い「トリック・オア・トリート」パレードでハロウィンを祝（いわ）いました。最後（さいご）は英語（えいご）と日本語（にほんご）で「きらきら星（ぼし）」を歌（うた）って、みんなリラックスした様子（ようす）で帰（かえ）りました。来月（らいげつ）もぜひ参加（さんか）して新（あたら）しい友達（ともだち）をつくりましょう！
