10月（がつ）25日（にち）に横浜市立山内図書館（よこはましりつやまうちとしょかん）で英語（えいご）のおはなし会（かい）をしました。テーマは、ハロウインでした。

最初（さいしょ）に、ハロウィンのパネルシアターから始（はじ）めました。子（こ）どもたちは、かぼちゃの中（なか）から何（なに）が出（で）でくるのかわくわくしながらおはなしを聞（き）いていました。

次（つぎ）にGo Away, Big Green Monster !のおはなしを読（よ）みました。ページをめくるとモンスターの顔（かお）がどんどん変（か）わっていって、大盛（おおも）り上（あ）がり。みんな大（おお）きな声（こえ）でGo away! と声（こえ）を出（だ）していました。そのあと、みんなで絵本（えほん）を使（つか）った色（いろ）さがしのゲームをしました。こどもたちは、Sarahが言（い）った色（いろ）をよく聞（き）いて、同（おな）じ色（いろ）の本（ほん）を探（さが）しました。ハロウィンの衣装（いしょう）で参加（さんか）してくれた子（こ）どもたちに会（あ）うことができてうれしかったです。

On October 25, we had a wonderful time at the Yamauchi Library for our English storytime! The theme was Halloween.

We kicked things off with a Halloween panel theater that had the kids buzzing with excitement as they waited to see what would pop out of the pumpkin.Then we enjoyed the story “Go Away, Big Green Monster!”. The kids were thrilled to see the monster’s face change with every page turn, and they couldn’t help but shout, “Go away!” really loudly. After that, we played a color-finding game with picture books. The kids listened closely to the colors that Sarah called out and raced to find the matching books. It was so cute to see everyone in their adorable Halloween costumes!
