We kicked off our first Multicultural Playgroup of the year by exploring traditional Japanese New Year games together

With 10 local and international families joining us, parents and children stretched and moved together during yoga time while learning some seasonal Japanese words.

Next, we decorated cute Ema (wooden wishing plaques) as a keepsake to mark the beginning of the year

As always, we gently wrapped up the session by singing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”sending the children home with a calm and peaceful rhythm.

多文化（たぶんか）プレイグループ｜お正月（しょうがつ）あそび

今年最初（ことしさいしょ）の多文化（たぶんか）プレイグループでは、日本（にほん）のお正月（しょうがつ）あそびをテーマに、親子（おやこ）で楽（たの）しい時間（じかん）を過（す）ごしました

10組（くみ）の日本人（にほんじん）・外国人家族（がいこくじん）が参加（さんか）し、ヨガタイムでは親子（おやこ）で体（からだ）を動（うご）かしながら、季節（きせつ）のことばも少（すこ）し学（まな）びました。

そのあとは、新（あたら）しい一年（いちねん）の思（おも）い出（で）に、かわいい絵馬（えま）づくり

最後（さいご）はいつものように「きらきら星（ぼし）」を歌（うた）って、穏（おだ）やかなリズムで会（かい）を締（し）めくくりました。
