Exciting news! SCC is hosting storytelling sessions in easy Japanese and English at the Kanagawa Library, Tsuzuki Library, and Kohoku Library this August, and we’d love for you to join us!
We’ll be reading two wonderful stories: “Mottainai Grandma” and “Hey Buddy, Which One?” in both languages.
Plus, we’ll have fun playing the karuta game! After storytime, we’ll challenge you with a quiz called “How Much Do You Know About Libraries?”
It’s a great way to learn and have fun during the summer holidays!
Also, don’t miss out the cultural exhibition at the Kanagawa Library and Kohoku Library during the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) happening in Yokohama from August 20 to 22. SCC and Danro member from Africa supported to organize a vibrant African cultural exhibition.

SCCは、8月（がつ）に神奈川図書館（かながわとしょかん）、都筑図書館（としょかん）、港北図書館（としょかん）で、やさしい日本語（にほんご）と英語（えいご）のおはなし会（かい）をします。「もったいないばあさん」と「ねぇ、どっちがすき？」をやさしい日本語と英語で読（よ）みます。カルタあそびもします。そして、おはなし会のあとは、図書館クイズをします。みんなは、どのくらい図書館のことを知（し）っているかな？8月20日〜22日に横浜市（よこはまし）で第（だい）9回（かい）アフリカ開発会議（かいはつかいぎ）があります。SCCとDanroのアフリカ出身（しゅっしん）のメンバーが協力（きょうりょく）して、神奈川図書館と港北図書館で文化展示（ぶんかてんじ）をします。夏休（なつやす）みに遊（あそ）びにきてください。
