SCC will be holding multilingual storytime and read a book of ” The Very Hungry Caterpillar” in Japanese, English, Spanish and Thai at the donation charity event, Giving December.
We aim to introduce children to DIVERSITY at an early age hoping to immerse them in culturally diverse activities that gives the opportunity to become more comfortable with the difference in race, religion, language, and lifestyle.
The storytellers are composed by diverse cultural backgrounds and a person who has a disability.
After the storytime kids will have a game that requires to accomplish mission as a team.

This is a charity campain launched in 2015 and have been holding across Japan during the special month ” December”.
It aims to increase people’s interest in donating and creating opportunities for action. SCC is joining this campaign with
other nonprofits based in Yokohama.
