Have fun outdoors! Join us for a day of nature at “Kodomo-no-kuni” park in Yokohama on Saturday, the 29th of May

Kodomo-no-kuni is a massive park for children. It’s almost a million square metres, twice as big as Yoyogi park in Shibuya.

Spring is well-and-truly here so please join together with SCC members, friends and family. It’s a great chance to relax and meet new people, while enjoying the fresh air and blossoming plants and flowers.

Enjoy discovering nature in Kodomo-no-kuni. Walk around Kodomonokuni and have fun with nature. Let’s learn about trees, plants, insects, birds and waterlife. We’ll also explore the hidden parts of Kodomo-no-kuni!

Plan:

  1. Meet at the entrance before 10:15
  2. Explore kodomo-no-kuni, collecting leaves, seeds and sticks
  3. Have a picnic lunch together
  4. Go to the classroom to share what we’ve found

There will be lots of time for playing, of course.

Kodomo-no-kuni has plenty of vending machines and toilets. There’s a Lawson convenience store at Kodomo-no-kuni station.

The fee for this event is 500 yen per family, plus the entry fee for Kodomo-no-kuni:
