Our February session brought together many local and international families for a joyful morning together
After introductions, we learned about Setsubun, a traditional Japanese celebration. The children had so much fun “sending away bad spirits” by throwing beans — hoping to bring good luck to their families. The “bad spirits” represented bad habits, which made it both meaningful and playful!
We sang the cheerful song “Oni no Pants”
and moved our bodies with a fun winter-themed yoga time for parents and kids.
The bigger kids were especially excited to sing “Skidamarink”, a favorite they knew so well!
We also made a sweet heart craft with stickers, and as always, we gently closed the session with
“Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” while many of the children danced along
Thank you to everyone who joined us!
We said goodbye and look forward to seeing you again on March 15 — morning session
