Today we held a Sashiko gathering at PEOPLEWISE Café in Tama-Plaza.
We began by choosing colorful threads and fabrics with beautiful printed patterns that caught our eye.
Then, our facilitator gently guided us through some easy Sashiko stitching techniques.
Throughout the session, everyone enjoyed stitching while chatting together — and at times, quietly focusing on their own patterns. The café was cozy and warm, filled with sunlight streaming through the large windows, making it a truly relaxing and creative time.
Our next session will be on February 16 for Indian Teatime, and we’ll also have another Sashiko gathering on March 9🪡

今日（きょう）は、たまプラーザにあるピープルワイズカフェで、刺（さ）し子（こ）づくりをしました。
はじめに、たくんあるキットの中（なか）から、自分（じぶん）の好（す）きな色（いろ）の糸（いと）と刺（さ）し子（こ）のパターンを選（えら）びました。それから、スタッフが簡単（かんたん）な刺（さ）し子（こ）のぬい方（かた）を教えました。みんなおしゃべりをしながら楽（たの）しく縫（ぬ）ったり、時々（ときどき）、静（しず）かに集中（しゅうちゅう）して縫（ぬ）ったりしました。
カフェは大（おお）きな窓（まど）から日光（にっこう）がさしこむ、明（あか）るくて居心地（いごこち）のよいカフェでした。
