It’s been three years since I started contributing articles to 森ノオトweb magazine on international families’ parenting in Japan. I’ve been chasing this theme for a long time, probably because of my mom’s parenting experience in the US. She couldn’t speak English at all but had to survive to raise kids in a foreign country in times long past. For the 7th serial article, I wrote about our Malaysian member, May’s multilingual parenting, and the prejudices that she encounters as an Asian living in Japan.
