The Foreign Resident Support Center (FRESC) is a government agency that supports foreign residents living and working in Japan. The FRESC is located in the “コモレ四谷 (CO-MO-RE YOTSUYA)” building in front of Yotsuya Station in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, and provides consultation services for foreign residents, and support for companies that want to hire foreign residents.

FRESC is currently providing phone consultation service for foreign nationals/residents who have lost their jobs or whose lives have been affected by COVID-19. They will be able to direct you to resources and help that are available.
